The Plan

Our rough plan is as follows :

9 December: Flight from Munich to Wellington via Hong Kong and Auckland LH730; NZ38; NZ419

11 December : Arrive in Wellington

Week at Helen's

15 December : First Day of 2nd Test match NZ vs Sri Lanka ??

18 December : Pick up Maui camper and cross Cook Straits to Picton (South Island)

19 December : Whale watching in Kaikoura

Christmas : The southern end of the island (Dunedin) surrounded by penguins?

Travel back up the island to spend time in the Abel Tasman National Park until :

15 January 2007 ! : Return with the Interislander ferry to Wellington

Week with Helen again

22 to 28 January : Travel up to Auckland with station wagon via Palmerston North, Lake Taupo and the glow worm caves

28 January : Pick up Maui camper van and spend a week in Northland (hopefully Helen will join us)

4 - 28 February : Travel back down from Auckland round the eastern part of the North Island

1 - 3 March : Time with Uncle Roger and Wendy in Masterton - Golden Shears competition?

3 - 9 March : Week with Helen again in Wellington

9 March : Flight back to Munich via Auckland, Hong Kong (day visit) NZ476; NZ39; LH731

11 March : Arrive back in Munich !!!
